Sindh makes major reshuffle in provincial administration

KARACHI: In a major shake up in the provincial administration Sindh government on Friday, removed Additional Inspector General of Karachi police Ghulam Qadir Thebo and other senior bureaucrats of the province, ARY News reported.

According to the government sources, the decision was taken during a high level huddle at Chief Minister House.

According to sources Thebo has been transferred to the post of chairman Anti-Corruption Establishment of Sindh government, from where Zakir Hussain has been asked to report to provincial Services and General Administration Department.

Mushtaq Mahar has been appointed as the new chief of Karachi police to replace Thebo.

Director General Sindh Building Control Authority Manzoor Qadir Kaka, has also been removed from his post, sources said.

KMC administrator Saqib Soomro has also been removed from his post.
