Sindh home minister castigates cops for ‘patronizing criminal dens’

KARACHI: Sindh Home Minister Sohail Anwar Sial has come hard on the police officers, saying they were patronizing criminal dens in the province, ARY News reported.

During a meeting at Police headoffice, the home minister kept labeling the cops as ‘lethargic’.

He accused the top cops of stationing their blued eyed officers in their respective areas as station house officers (SHOs).

He warned senior officers of improve their performance or face action.

He cautioned that strict action would be taken against officers involved in forcing someone to pay money. The meeting was attended by deputy inspector general and SSPs.
