SEHWAN: Sindh Government has protested against the federal government over suspending the power supply to the shrine of Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar, ARY News reported.

According to details, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah telephoned Federal Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Muhammad Asif — who is currently in Germany — and informed of the suspension of the power outage at the shrine.

The chief minister said that the CCTV cameras and walkthrough gates stopped working due to the power outages.

He asked why the power supply at the shrine was suspended when the province is paying its dues.

CM Sindh assured the federal minister that the next installment will be paid soon.

Asif has taken notice of the power outage and assured the chief minister that the matter will be investigated.

At least 80 people were killed and over 200 others were wounded in a suicide blast at the shrine of Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar on Thursday. The bombing  occurred in the shrine during the ‘dhamaal’ ritual.
