Sindh to raise power dispute at CCI: Qaim
KARACHI: Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah has said that the dispute over power load shedding in Sindh and electricity arrears will be raised in the Council of Common Interest (CCI), ARY News reported on Tuesday.
Speaking at the floor of Sindh Assembly provincial Chief Minister called disconnection of power an illegal act, which has been injustice with the people of the province. Those who have disconnected power can be arrested, he warned.
He said the government of Sindh is not responsible for the power shortage, he said. Qaim Ali Shah said that the federal government has trust over the meter reader but not over Sindh government.
He demanded the central government to inform about the actual outstanding amount against the province.
He also demanded restoration of the all disconnected power connections.
