Sindh Rangers nab seven suspects in Karachi
KARACHI: Sindh Rangers on Saturday arrested seven suspects involved in robberies and street crimes, ARY News reported.
The suspects were arrested during raids in Gadap and Gulshan-e-Iqbal, said the spokesperson of Sindh Rangers.
“Weapons and looted goods have been recovered from possession of the arrested suspects,” he said.
The spokesman of paramilitary force said the captured suspects included Sajjad, Shahid, Aamir, Bahadur, Nizamuddin, Shamsullah and Imran.
He said the culprits had been handed over to police for legal actions.
On April 19, Sindh Rangers had apprehended 16 suspects during raids in different areas of Karachi.
The Sindh Rangers spokesperson had said four suspects belonging to Muttahida Qaumi Movement-London (MQM-L) were arrested from Kharadar, Risala and Mithadar areas.
He had said the paramilitary force nabbed an alleged target killer from Garden, Saddar.
“At least 10 suspects were collared from Paposh, Nazimabad, Rizvia, Chakiwara and Garden areas,” he had said.
The Rangers spokesman had said a drug peddler, Basheer Ahmed, was arrested from Paposh Nagar.
On April 12, Sindh Rangers had arrested 12 suspects during raids in different areas of Karachi, ARY News reported.
The suspects were involved in several crimes including robbery and street crimes. The raids were conducted in Gulberg, Bilal Colony, Nabi Bukhsh, Garden, Risala and Saudabad, the spokesperson of Sindh Rangers had said.
