Sindh will develop its coastal areas, says Qaim
KARACHI: Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah has said that the provincial government will develop the coastal areas of the province by constructing new power plants, ARY News reports.
Syed Qaim Ali Shah, while answering the questions of the opposition in Sindh Assembly, said that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) led provincial government made 500 homes for the people affected by the floods and sea erosions in 2010. He added that PPP spent 11 billion rupees on the flood affected persons in their last tenure.
He added that the present government will construct a two way highway from Karachi to Tharparkar and will build a power plant at Keti Bandar. He said that the government has already spend Rs. 70 million on the highway project.
