Sindh would never be divided, forewarns Sharjeel Memon
KARACHI: Information Minister Sindh, Sharjeel Memon has said that Sindh would never be divided, nor shall we let anyone do so. He added that the Urdu-speakers have been widely regarded by Sindhi-speaking people of the province – ARY News reports.
According to details, the Information Minister stated that the land of Indus is not a plate which could be broken into pieces.
Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Information Secretary, Qamar Zaman Kaira while responding to MQM Chief's statement of a separate province, said that this is not a right way that a person stands up all of a sudden and demands for a province.
Shazia Marri returned that Altaf Hussain has issued such statements in the past too, but the people of Sindh neither welcomed such statements then, nor will they greet now.
She added that Pakistan could never be divided on linguistic basis and it will not be divided in future also.
