Singer Abrar-ul-Haq taught Wahab Riaz

LAHORE: Fans of Pakistani fast bowler Wahab Riaz taken by surprise as Pakistani singer Abrar-ul-Haq claimed to be one of the cricketer’s teachers, ARY News reported.

In a series of tweets after a lunch with Indian musician Mika Singh, Pakistani singer Amanat Ali and Pakistani cricketers Wahab Riaz and Salman Butt, Abar-ul-Haq revealed the secret about Pakistan’s World Cup 2015 hero.

The Singer cum politician tweeted that few people know  that he taught ‘Geography’ to Wahab Riaz at Lahore’s Atchison College.

Wahab Riaz’s lethal bowling spell against Australia in the quarterfinal become one of the highlights of the World Cup cricket where he impressed the cricketing geniuses of past and present alike.

Riaz was in tears when Pakistan lost the match to Australia resulting in the national team’s ouster from the World Cup.

It must be remembered that Abrar-ul-Haq before getting famous as a singer was teaching at Atchison College.
