Siraj asks govt to look beyond its ‘honeymoon period’

TOP NEWS

“The honeymoon period of government has ended with completion of its two years in office. This is now the time of accountability,” he said while addressing a gathering in Charsadda.

The JI chief said the poor people supported Awami National Party, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN), but in return the rulers did nothing for the voters.

He vowed to make Pakistan a welfare state.

He said if the government didn’t take relevant stake holders into confidence on Pak-China corridor, the problems could surface.

A ruckus was also erupted between JI workers during the gathering, however the party leadership successfully intervened to clear the air.
