Siraj ready to bear responsibility of taking Musharraf to court
LAHORE: Senior Provincial Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Siraj ul Haq has said that if the Federal Government is unable to take Musharraf to the court safely, then it should hand over the former President to the KP Government and we shall be taking him to the court – ARY News reports.
Talking to media after a ceremony here, Siraj ul Haq welcomed Imran-Nawaz meet, yet he demanded that a mandate from the entire nation must be a pre-requisite for an operation, in case of failure of talks.
Commenting on the MQM Chief, he said that Altaf Hussain is a British National, and the very day he will return to Pakistan, he will meet a situation like that of Musharraf today.
Speaking about the success of peace talks, Siraj stated that the United States (US) always arranges for sabotaging of negotiations between the Government of Pakistan and Taliban.
Moreover, he said that if the center allows, then an office of Taliban shall be opened in KP.
