Siraj to meet Nawaz, Imran today

ISLAMABAD: Jamat Islami (JI) chief Sirajul Haq will meet Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Imran Khan today to discuss the political situation after PTI’s announcement of a long march to Islamabad, ARY News reported on Wednesday.

Jamat Islami has been a coalition partner of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) in the provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has invited the JI leader to discuss the situation in the backdrop of the PTI’s long march call.

The Prime Minister had also discusssed the situation in a telephonic conversation with former president Asif Ali Zardari and held meetings with various party leaders to gain support for his government to tackle the situation.

Sirajul Haq is also expected to meet PTI leader Imran Khan to discuss the situation.

A delegation of Pakistan People’s will also likely to meet Sirajul Haq to exchange views over the soaring political temperatures in the country.
