Addressing Kisan convention at Rajowal in Okara, Sirajul Haq demanded land reforms from the government to wipe out feudalism from Pakistan on the same footing as it was uprooted from India.
He warned the rulers not to push the impoverished population of the country to the wall lest they reach the safe havens of the rich and mighty for their rights.
Sirajul Haq vowed to give subsidy on seeds, urea, fertilizers and agricultural machinery if Jamaat-e-Islami comes into power.
The JI chief lashed out at the rulers by saying that the present government has not solved a single problem of the poor masses.
He claimed that only the problems of minister and powerful people are solved in this government which has burdened the already troubled nation with inflation, power cuts and petrol crisis.
Earlier, Sirajul Haq also laid the foundation stone of Qazi Hussain Ahmed Hospital in Rajowal.
