Sit-in to continue for unspecified period, says Imran

ISLAMABAD: Imran Khan has said that the PTI’s sit-in against drone strikes will be continued for unspecified period.

Talking to media before leaving for Peshawar to lead his party’s protest to block supplies to NATO troops in Afghanistan, Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf chief said if his party would have in government in Islamabad, it would have blocked NATO supplies and raised the issue in the United Nations Security Council.

Imran Khan left for Peshawar to lead the sit-in to block NATO supplies.

The preparations for the sit-in has been completed and the rallies of the party workers reaching the venue of the protest at Peshawar Ring Road.

Stringent security measures have been taken for the sit-in and Ring Road has been blocked for traffic.
