Six killed in Karachi violence

KARACHI: Target killing incidents took lives of eight people including two Ahleshuunat Wal Jamaat (ASWJ) men in Karachi on Sunday, ARY News reported.

Two people were killed when unknown assailants opened fire on them at Malir Halt. The victims were identified as Nasim Khan and Muhammad Asif.

Stray bullet killed a pedestrian in Lyari while terrorists killed a father and son in Orangi Town area, the victims were identified as Athar Hussain and Akhter Hussain.

Both the slain are said to be associated with Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat. Their bodies were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
Later, ASWJ spokesperson confirmed the father son duo’s affiliation with the party.

Islahuddin, a custom officer succumbed to his injuries and breathed his last in Abbasi Shaheed Hospital today. He got injured in a gun attack on Friday.
