Six killed in Kurram Agency remote controlled attack

PESHAWAR: At least six people were killed and five others were injured when a vehicle was hit by a remote controlled attack in Kurram Agency on Tuesday, ARY News reports.

According to source, the vehicle was heading towards Sadda from Khomsa area when the incident took place. Four people were killed on in the explosion and six others were injured

The bodies and the injured were rushed to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Sadda for medical treatment where two of the wounded succumbed to their wounds.

Security forces surrounded the area and lodged a search operation.

It should be noted that three security men were killed and two others were wounded when their vehicle hit a landmine in North Waziristan on May 30 whereas six security personnel were killed when their vehicle made contact with a landmine on May 25 at Mohmand Agency.
