MAILSI: Six workers were killed as they were cleaning well without taking any precautionary measures in Mailsi on Sunday, ARY News reports.
The unfortunate incident took place Mailsi's neighboring area of Jala Gem when eight laborers went into a well to clean it. They fell in the well when their support broke.
Locals managed to save two of the workers whereas rescue teams recovered the bodies of the six persons.
Residents of the area staged a protest against the negligence of Tehsil Municipal Administration Mailsi.
