Six students hurt in Urdu University clash

KARACHI: Six university students were injured when two student groups clashed against each other at Maulvi Abdul Haq Campus of Federal Urdu University here in Karachi on Wednesday, ARY News reports.

According to police, armed workers of two student groups attacked each other with batons. An exchange of fire also took place between the groups.

The injured students were shifted to Civil Hospital for medical treatment.

Academic activities were suspended after the clash and tension gripped the area afterwards. Convoys of Police and Rangers arrived at the spot and took control of the situation.

Three students were injured during group clashes on Monday. Police was deployed around the campus area after the fight.
