KARACHI: A ban has been imposed on smoking across all education institutions in Sindh, ARY News reported Tuesday.
Directives in this connection were issued by Sindh Education Minister Nisar Ahmed Khuhro. The ban on smoking will also cover teachers along with the students.
The minister said notification in this regard will be displayed across notice boards of different educational institutions.
Director general colleges and directors schools of Sindh will be bound to ensure implementation of the orders.
Those violating the rule will face punishment, the minister said.
