Arrangements for the rally at Bagh-e-Jinnah were underway since Saturday. It is expected that representatives of different political parties will also attend the solidarity rally. Addressing party workers who busy in arrangements for the rally, the MQM chief Altaf Hussain said army was not alone in fight against terrorists; nation stands by the entire armed forces, he added.
He asked the party workers to keep eye on suspicious persons in the rally.
MQM leader Farooq Sattar said Pakistan Army was fighting war of country’s survival in North Waziristan, adding solidarity with the armed forces at this juncture was inevitable. He said arrangements were made for Iftaar for rally participants. It will be the biggest Iftaar party of Pakistan, said Sattar.
