Some Balochistan areas to get solar power from July

QUETTA: Minister for State and Frontier Regions Lt General (retd) Abdul Qadir Baloch has said that the solar power would be provided to Mashkel, Kharan and other areas of Balochistan by July this year under the federal government projects.

He was speaking in the inaugural ceremony of Yakmach-Kharan Road in Balochistan, attended by Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Federal Minister Hasil Khan Bizenjo, Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, other officials, tribal elders and a large number of local people.

“Majority of people in Balochistan are with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and will support it in the upcoming general elections because PML-N has always worked for the welfare of masses,” claimed Baloch while addressing the recently held ceremony.

Baloch said, “Kharan Cadet College will be completed soon at a cost of Rs1.32 billion aiming to improve quality of education in the province.”

Earlier, NHA Chairman Jawad Malik briefed Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi about Kharan-Yakmach Highway.
