Fawad Khan and Sonam Kapoor’s chemistry in Khoobsurat was there for all to see. The two co-stars did a wonderful job starring in Khoobsurat, which eventually led Fawad to nabbing a Filmfare award. Sonam Kapoor recently spoke to a media outlet and was all praise for the Pakistani actor’s looks and acting talent.
“What does one say about a man who is a gorgeous and gifted with magnificent acting talent. When we were looking at casting for the character Vikram, we needed someone who can look regal effortlessly”, she said.
Sonam Kapoor also revealed that the name of the Pakistani actor was suggested by her mother’s friends, when they were brainstorming as to who should be cast in Khoobsurat. Apparently, Sonam’s aunties were die hard fans of the actor due to his popular drama serials Zindagi Gulzar Hai and Humsafar which are extremely popular in India.
“Soon he became our dinner table conversation and that’s when Rhea decided to contact him for the film and as they say, rest is history.”
Fawad Khan was also to star with Sonam Kapoor in an upcoming Bollywood film titled Battle For Bittora. However, reports started surfacing that the artist was to be replaced with actor Farhan Akhtar, since he had said no to shooting intimate scenes with the Kapoor beauty.
Good to know that Fawad Afzal Khan is garnering quite the attention in India and that too, from his beautiful co-stars. The Pakistani hunk is currently, shooting for his upcoming film Kapoor and Sons with Rishi Kapoor, Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt as his co-stars.
