Well her fans can now rejoice as Sonam who is still basking in the glory of her previous film Neerja and the show-stopping appearances at the recent Cannes Film Festival will be taking part in an all-girls drama film.
This was announced by her sister and producer Rhea Kapoor who is co-producing the film with Ekta Kapoor and they have brought four powerhouse actors in her next film.
The film titled ‘Veere Di Wedding’ is meant to be a fun ride and explores the spirit of the modern Indian woman and their journey from Delhi to Europe

It also stars Kareena Kapooor alongside Swara Bhaskar known for her supporting role of bride-to-be in commercially successful Tanu Weds Manu, and Shikha Talsania from Wake Up Sidd.
The film will be directed by Shashanka Ghosh and is said to be adapted from the Hollywood drama The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants . The shooting for the film will start in July and will be shot in New Delhi and later the crew will later head to Thailand.
Rhea Kapoor announced the project on Instagram while Sonam shared the post and it can be said that the film is about new age feminism.The 31-year-old actor also shared her excitement in working excitement on working in the new film.
