Sonam Kapoor regrets leaving her education unfinished

Style icon and Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor voiced her regret at opting for a career in the film industry over her academics. The actress was speaking on the occasion of the L’Oreal Paris Femina World Awards 2015 from the sidelines. The actress, however, let it be known that she planned to secure an undergraduate degree this year and had already gotten to filling forms for her education.   “My biggest regret is I’ve not completed my studies. But I’m going to finish my graduation this year. I’m going to fill in the forms to get my undergraduate degree in literature. For me, it’s one of those things that I regret the most,” Sonam said. “I stopped studying at the 12th. Then I came and became an actress. I could have waited for four years,” she said.

Sonam is also a brand ambassador for L’Oreal Paris and was at the event to announce the nominees who have excelled as leaders and demonstrated commitment towards their careers. Speaking on he occasion, this is what the star had to say about the awards. “It’s an honour to support a platform that celebrates and admires accomplished women from various walks of life for their talent, grace and ability to inspire and achieve. For me, each and every nominee is a winner and I wish them the best of luck.”

The actress has starred in previous Bollywood films such as the critically acclaimed Raanjhanaa, Saawariya, Khoobsurat and most recently Dolly ki Dholi. Nowadays the actress is busy in shooting for her upcoming film opposite Salman Khan, titled ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’. Previously, the actress has also voiced her desire to open a clothing line with her sister Rhea Kapoor. Given her acute fashion sense, Sonam’s clothing line is bound to produces stylishly elegant dresses.

Dolly Ki Dholi released to mixed reviews from audience members. perhaps Sonam should go back, get a little educational insight and then return to movies!
