South Asia’s largest dancing fountain inaugurated in Karachi

KARACHI: Bahria Town inaugurated the largest dancing fountain of South Asia in Karachi on April 16, making it an amazing cynosure for visitors.

The spectacular dancing fountain featuring water, laser and fire comprises of 250 fountain jets with water jets reaching up to the height of 180 feet, flame throwers, 2 water screens, lasers and 350 LED lighting projectors.


The fountain is designed by renowned designers who have also designed Singapore’s Santoza Fountain, Shanghai’s Disney Land Park, France’s Futuro Scope, Dubai Fountain and Dubai Canal.

Pakistan is one of the most beautiful countries in the world but has the lowest number of tourists in the region.

Chairman Bahria Town Malik Riaz Hussain speaking on the occasion said, “Bahria Town is committed to building a beautiful and safe Paksitan. Bahria Fountain is a reflection of our commitment to transform Pakistan into a world-class tourist destination.’

“To portray a beautiful and safe Pakistan is the aim of Bahria Town and the fountain symbolizes this dream.” he further added.

The unveiling ceremony of the fountain featured Tanoura Dance, Faakhir’s live performance and awesome fireworks which hyped up the level of excitement of the crowd. Bahria Town Karachi is the largest private real estate development project in the history of Pakistan.

Attendees of the function were awestruck by the mesmerizing show and were of the view that such well-organized family events should be held more often.
