Sri Lanka set target of 302 to win

ABU DHABI: Sri Lanka declared at 480/5 setting a target of 302 runs to win on the fifth day of the first test match against Pakistan here at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium on Saturday.

Sri Lankan batsman Angelo Mathews was the highest scorer for the team with his score of 157 runs followed by Dinesh Chandimal's knock of 89 runs. Kaushal Silva made 81 runs whereas Prassana Jayawardena made 63 runs.

Kumar Sangakkara made 55 runs for the team.

Pakistani bowler Junaid Khan took three wickets whereas Bilawal Bhatti took two wickets for the Green Shirts.

Pakistan were at 23/0 with Khurram Manzoor and Ahmed Shehzad at the crease. They further require 279runs to win with 10 wickets in hand.
