KARACHI: Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has made the record production of 750,001 Meters in the first ten months of current fiscal year 2013-14, ARY News reported.
The Managing Director (MD) of SSGC, Zuhair Siddiqui said that meter plant’s worker has achieved the target of meter production two months before without any additional overtime and facility.
The MD SSGC announced a 5 per cent salary increase of HR and 3rd party workers and Rs. 3,000 bonus for the workers of the plant.
He further said that on average 130 seconds are spent on producing a single meter while the plant is capable of producing 2900 meters in a day.
Zuhair Siddiqui announced that target for productions of 1,000,000 units have been set for the Fiscal Year 2014-15.
