RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Raheel Sharif has said that Pakistan's nuclear program is a source of effective defence of the state and the strategic assets of the country are in safe hands – ARY News reports.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Army Chief General Raheel Sharif visited the Strategic Planning Division on Friday, where he was given a detailed briefing on the strategic affairs of the country.
On this occasion, the COAS expressed his satisfaction over the Nuclear Command and Control System and said that the strategic assets of the state are in safe hands.
He added that Pakistan's nuclear program is a means of effective defence of the country.
