Strategy finalized to deal with long march: PML-N minister

ISLAMABAD: The government has devised a strategy to ‘cope’ with the long march by opposition party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, on August 14 in Islamabad, said the minister Khwaja Saad Rafique.

Talking to media in Islamabad, Rafique, who holds the portfolio of Railways, said those arriving in Islamabad should guarantee that peace would be maintained in the capital.

“Dr. Tahirul Qadri should avoid giving provocative statements that may fuel anarchy in the country”. He advised Imran to be careful about conspiracies.

He said the PML-N was consulting with all stakeholders concerned regarding the upcoming political scenario.

The minister stressed that no endeavour should be made to divide nation on the Independence Day.

He said Imran Khan should guarantee that he and his parliamentarians would remain peaceful during the march.
