Strong measures should be taken for Taliban talks: Prof. Ibrahim
PESHAWAR: Member of Taliban committee for peace talks Professor Ibrahim has said that federal government should take solid measures for peace talks with the militants, ARY News reports.
Speaking exclusively to ARY News, Professor Ibrahim said that it is favorable that the federal government and Taliban are willing to continue the peace process.
He further said that the a meeting will be held with the government formed committee after which a meeting of Taliban shura will be held.
Professor Ibrahim added that the details of the freed captives have not been revealed. According to him, efforts are being made for a permanent ceasefire.
"Those criticizing the peace process want war, not peace", he added.
