SUCP demands Gov't for action against terrorists in Mastung in 24 hrs
ISLAMABAD: Shia Ulema Council Pakistan (SUCP) has given an ultimatum of 24 hours to the Government to kick-off an operation against terrorists in Mastung and adjacent areas – ARY News reports.
According to details, secretary general of the council, Allama Arif Hussain Wahidi during a press conference along with other officials, stated that the affectees of Mastung incident have been on a protest sit-in for the past 30 hours along with the dead bodies of the deceased, but the Federal Government has not made a slightest move.
He stated that the Chief Minister Balochistan, Dr Abdul Malik Baloch has no powers to resolve the issue.
Allama Arif Hussain demanded the Government to lodge an operation within 24 hours against extremists in Mastung, or else protest rallies will be taken out nationwide, tomorrow after the Friday prayers.
He further added that roads will be jammed completely, whereas the issue will also be taken up at international forums.
