The earlier verdict as regards to Siddique Khan Baloch’s disqualification has been upheld by the Supreme Court.

According to the details, the Supreme Court ordered re-election to be held in NA-154 constituency and also banned the decision of Siddique Baloch’s indefinite suspension.

A hearing was held for the NA-154 election petition, which challenged the election tribunal’s decision. Justice Saqib Nasir headed the 3-member bench which conducted the proceedings.

Speaking to media personnel outside the court, Siddiqui Baloch said that he was thankful to God that he had been given a clean chit from the two allegations. He also said that if his degree was found to be fake, he would quit politics for good.
