Swiss leaks: Pakistan saved $859m in Swiss banks

As many as 314 client accounts from Pakistan opened 648 bank accounts between 1970 and 2006, ARY News reported.

The Swiss Leaks report says Pakistan is ranked 48th country, while India is ranked 16 with $4.1 billion.

The maximum amount of money associated with a Pakistan client connected to Pakistan was $133.5M in total $859.7, however the report doesn’t mention name of the individual who had maximum amount in the Swiss banks.

According to International Consortium of Investigative Journalism’s website, the Swiss Leaks project is based on a trove of almost 60,000 leaked files that provide details on over 100,000 HSBC clients and their bank accounts.
