Ronchi’s 56 off 31 balls and Shoaib Malik’s 27 off 17 could not save the Legends from losing the match thanks to the huge total put up by Maratha Arabians who made the highest T10 total so far in the tournament.

Batting first, Maratha Arabians put  a massive 130 on board. Losing the two openers cheaply in the start of their innings, Arabians’ Rossouw led the charge and hit a massive 67 off 27 balls. Legends’ Faheem Ashraf took two wickets while Jordan and Bopara took 1 each.

Punjabi Legends captain Misbah won the toss and chose to bowl first in the must-win game for both the teams. Imad Wasim led Marathas in the absence of Sehwag who is suffering from an injury.

The match marked the end of play-off session of T10 League with Maratha Arabians, Pakhtoon Team, Punjabi Legends and Kerala Kings qualifying for the semi-final stage.

The two semi-finals and the final will be played on Sunday December 17.
