KARACHI: Sindh Home Department has imposed ban on swimming at beaches of Karachi for 30 days starting from Monday (September 17), ARY News reported. Ban on swimming in the sea is normally imposed on the eve of any big occasion such as Eid, Independence Day, Eid Milad-un-Nabi and Youm-e-Ashura to avoid any untoward situation. KARACHI: Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra) has banned Dr. Amir Liaquat for thirty days from appearing on any television channel ruling that he had violated several sections of Pemra Ordinance in a television programme a day ago.
