According to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), with fresh inclusion of the infections in the country the national tally of cases now currently stands at 564,824.
The total count of active cases is 31,510 and positivity rate stands at 3.19 per cent.
Overall 505,818 people have recovered from the deadly disease so far while 8,085,427 samples have been tested thus far.
According to the latest statistics of the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), the COVID-19 has claimed 65 more lives and 2,179 fresh infections were reported.
In the past 24 hours, as many as 2,167 patients have recovered from the virus in a day and 2,133 patients are still in critical condition.
CM Usman Buzdar said in a statement that 2,283 patients have died of coronavirus so far, whereas, 11,672 tests were conducted within one day.
Health officials conducted 661 diagnostic tests in 24 hours and detected five positive cases, according to the health department.
In last 24 hours 18 cases of novel coronavirus were reported across the province in 1245 diagnostic tests, health department spokesperson said.
The province have overall 15,371 confirmed novel coronavirus infections, while 14,402 patients have recovered to health.
Two patients died of the coronavirus in the area within the last 24 hours, raising the fatalities to 43.
