Former AIG Sindh jailed for 10 years in corruption case

KARACHI: An accountability court in Karachi on Tuesday handed out 10-year imprisonment to former Assistant Inspector General of police (AIG) Logistics Tanveer Hussain Tahir in a case involving embezzlement of Rs50 million of government funds.  The accountability judge also imposed a fine of Rs25 million on the former top cop.
