Uber tests First of its kind Flying taxi service

Los Angeles: Uber today has given the first look at design models for its new air taxi, which it hopes to fly by 2020. They will be on display at the Uber Elevate Summit in Los Angeles. The design looks a bit like a drone, with multiple propellers and stacked rotors to allow for vertical takeoff and landing. NASA contracts Uber to build flying taxi air control software

LISBON: Uber has struck a deal with NASA to develop software for managing “flying taxi” routes in the air along the lines of ride-hailing services it has pioneered on the ground, the company said on Wednesday.
