Mysticism and spirituality at shrine of Data Ganj Baksh in Lahore

LAHORE: The 973rd Urs of Sufi saint Syed Ali bin Osman Al-Hajvery, popularly known as Data Ganj Bakhsh, began in Lahore on Saturday.  The three-day event was inaugurated by Finance Minister Senator Ishaq Dar who laid a sheet and flowers at the grave of the saint. Thousands of devotees have arrived from across the country to pay their respects. Data Ganj Bakhsh was a Persian Sufi and scholar during the 11th century.
