LAHORE: A professor at Government College University Lahore was shot dead on Wednesday morning while resisting an armed robbery in Lahore. Police said armed robbers intercepted Professor Dr Tanzeem Akbar Cheema near Kalma Chowk to rob him of his valuables and cash. When the professor put up resistance, they shot and fatally injured him.
