State Bank issues instructions after cyber attack on private bank

India launches its first Bitcoin ATM

BENGALURU: A first Bitcoin ATM has been launched in India, which will allow customers to deposit and withdraw the currency from the kiosk. Cryptocurrency exchange named Unocoin has launched an ATM in Bangaluru. LAHORE: A group of hackers are reportedly active in Lahore and are responsible for withdrawing money from citizen's bank accounts by hacking ATM cards raising concerns about safety and security.  The ATM cards of two citizens were hacked in Baghbanpura and Harbanspura area. LONDON: A group of robbers crashed through the glass entrance of a department store in England and got away with an ATM placed inside. Two Chinese nationals sentenced to one year in prison for ATM fraud

KARACHI: A court here on Monday sentenced two Chinese nationals to one year's imprisonment for their involvement in ATM skimming fraud. The court also directed them to furnish a fine of Rs 50, 000 each and warned that upon failure to do so they will have to undergo additional term of imprisonment.
