37 PML-N workers sent to jail for obstructing Safdar’s arrest
RAWALPINDI: A local court on Wednesday sent 37 PML-N workers to jail on 14-day judicial remand in cases registered against them for trying to stop NAB officials from arresting former premier Nawaz Sharif’s son-in-law retired Captain Safdar following his conviction in the Avenfield reference.
Rawalpindi police produced the PML-N supporters before Civil Judge Munazza Chaudhry who later sent them to Adiala Jail on judicial remand.
