PIA’s newly inducted Boeing 777 put into operation

KARACHI: The newly inducted Boeing 777 aircraft has been put into operation. The first flight operated by this aircraft, PK308, flew from Karachi to Islamabad on Friday evening carrying 300 passengers. The passengers were seen off by Chief Operating Officer PIA Zia Qadir Qureshi. The Boeing 777 aircraft has been inducted in PIA fleet on dry lease and after completion of formalities and painted in PIA livery was put into operation on Friday. ISLAMABAD: Officials of anti-narcotics force (ANF), Pakistan Customs and Airport Security Force raided a Jeddah-bound Boeing-777 of the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) at the at Jinnah International Airport and recovered over 15 kilogrammes of heroin from its secret sections, ARY News reported on Wednesday.
