SC sets up commission to probe Balochistan’s water issues

ISLAMABAD: Taking exception to lack of pure drinking water in Balochistan's Bolan district, the Supreme Court on Friday set up a two-member commission to probe the province's water issues and submit its report within two weeks. Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar, who headed a bench of the apex court, appointed the commission while hearing a suo motu case pertaining to non-availability of potable water in Balochistan’s Bolan district.
