FIFA investigates Shaqiri and Xhaka celebrations

MOSCOW:  FIFA has opened disciplinary proceedings against Switzerland players Xherdan Shaqiri and Granit Xhaka, looking into their goal celebrations during Friday’s win over Serbia at the World Cup. Moroccan World Cup celebrations turn violent in Brussels

BRUSSELS: Celebrations turned violent in central Brussels on Saturday, minutes after the qualification of the Moroccan national football team for the next World Cup in Russia, police told Belga news agency. KARACHI: Sky roared with fireworks as clock ticked 12:00 am to begin celebrations of 70th Independence Day of Pakistan on 14th August.
