Filling census forms with pencils not allowed, says chief statistician

ISLAMABAD: Chief Statistician Asif Bajwa on Friday said Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) had issued no such direction to use pencil to fill census forms, ARY News reported. “No enumerator or supervisor has been issued a pencil for filling forms. Commissioner Karachi warns against use of pencils for census forms

KARACHI: The commissioner of Karachi has taken notice of enumerators’ unauthorized practice of using pencils to fill in census forms during the ongoing population survey.  A notification in this regard was sent to all deputy commissioners to ensure no enumerator in any district use a pencil to fill census form.
