He talked to them over a video call.

Applicants must have been living in New Zealand on the day of the attack, so the visa will not be available to tourists or short-term visitors.
He will represent his grandmother Queen Elizabeth II, the official head of state of the former British colony of New Zealand.
Tarrant was then remanded to custody until June 14.
