All schools and businesses will remain shut
keeping in view the growing number of coronavirus patients and deaths caused by the deadly virus in Larkana, the district administration on Thursday decided to impose complete lockdown in the city for the next 10 days.
The National Coordination Committee (NCC) on June 1st decided to keep the businesses closed on Saturday and Sunday in a week, which will remain open from Monday to Friday.
A notification has been released regarding the imposition of lockdown measures which stated a complete ban on all kind of gatherings.
The provincial home department has also warned strict action against the persons involved in the violation of the restrictions.
The spokesperson to the Sindh government, Murtaza Wahab, said that strict lockdown measures will be maintained for three hours across the province on Friday.
In an effort to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus, the Sindh government has decided to impose a complete lockdown from 12 noon to 3 p.m. today (Friday).
On the other hand, isolation centers with 10,000 beds will be established in Sindh to meet any possible emergency arising out of coronavirus in the province.
The department has also warned strict action against the persons involved in the violation of the restrictions.
