ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar on Monday granted a request to rename the fund set up by the Supreme Court for the construction of dams in the country.  The Supreme Court of Pakistan Diamer Basha and Mohmand Dam Fund was renamed "Supreme Court/Prime Minister Dam Fund." ISLAMABAD: Affectees of Diamer-Basha Dam on Tuesday met Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Mian Saqib Nisar during his visit to Gilgit-Baltistan and requested him to order release of the compensation money. Govt establishes Daimer-Basha and Mohmand Dam Fund

KARACHI: The government has established a fund named the "Daimer-Basha and Mohmand Dam Fund 2018" for raising funds for construction of the two dams in the country. ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly on Tuesday passed a resolution moved by PML-N lawmaker Khalida Mansoor urging the government to take steps for early construction of Diamer-Bhasha dam.
