Forty-one people died in the DR Congo capital Kinshasa as the city was battered by torrential rains and landslides.
DR Congo declared a measles epidemic in June.
The WHO said the seven, comprising a woman and six of the man's children, had now been taken back from Birava to Goma.
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has said additional resources were required to deal with the outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
"The accumulated number of cases is 1,009," of which 629 cases were fatal, the health ministry said.
Seven months into the outbreak, "the Ebola response is failing to bring the epidemic under control," Doctors Without Borders (MSF) said in a statement.
Health authorities also confirmed 237 cases of "persons cured", with a further "200 suspect cases still under investigation".
