NCOC will meet tomorrow and education ministers from all provinces will participate in it, announced Shafqat Mahmood.
The decision was taken keeping in view the safety of students and all education personnel from the deadly virus.
The notification issued by the federal government has also announced dates for the new academic session.
The inter-provincial conference of education ministers would also be held on November 23 to discuss the COVID-19 situation.
He said that the province has enhanced its capacity of carrying out tests and added that 18,000 tests were conducted yesterday in Sindh to detect coronavirus.
Four universities have also been closed after the emergence of COVID-19 cases.
It may be noted that so far 35 educational institutions have been shut over failing to implement coronavirus SOPs.
PML-N Senator Javed Abbasi tabled the bill in the Senate.
Saeed Ghani opposed any move to reopen educational activities and said that they were not in favour of opening schools from June 01.
